Take Action on Climate Change! Move Ahead with Cleaner Travel Choices
Representatives from a number of communities gathered at this workshop to discuss issues and potential management techniques associated with transportation management and climate change in BC. Example discussion topics included social marketing, partnership building as well as community planning and design.

Green Energy: Opportunities and Challenges in the BC Interior
This workshop attracted over 75 representatives from a variety of organizations (forest industry, energy sector, NGOs and the various levels of government). The goal was to identify what Kyoto means to Northern BC. Participants learned about the programs and opportunities that are available, shared experiences and challenges, and discussed ways in which challenges could be overcome.

Transportation Demand Management: Make the Move on Climate Change! Share Challenges and Identify Opportunities to Take Action
The intent of this workshop was to allow participants to learn from others working to support and implement TDM initiatives in both smaller and larger communities throughout BC. The presentations also provided a comprehensive look at strategies designed to change attitudes and encourage public participation in TDM programs (including effective needs assessments, evaluation, and developing a successful marketing campaign).
